Hi, my name is Marita

I am a Cairns based artist and come from a diverse cultural arts background.

Through realism and abstraction, I aim to create what I call ‘the universal person’, figures that feel personal and familiar, yet open enough for others to see themselves reflected. Reminding us of our shared humanity.
